Wood Coatings 101 provides a foundational overview of the major coating technologies used to protect and enhance wood products. The course explains why coatings are applied addressing durability, appearance, environmental resistance, and performance requirements and how different technologies meet these needs. Learners are introduced to key categories such as waterborne and solvent borne, with clear explanations of their chemistry, application methods, advantages, limitations, and typical end uses.
